History

Formation

Manon DesChamps approaches Evans at the RCMPSS Headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, to tell him that she believes the him about the Stardance Event, the spaceship he saw in Melville Island a year earlier. DesChamps offers to arrange funding for an expedition to site ALEPH on Melville Island, if Evans helps her investigate the disappearances in Makkovik, Newfoundland. The two arrive in the small town, and question the locals in a bar. The locals begin to turn hostile towards when the pair question Ivan, until he reveals himself as VIIN, an alien species known as the Luminox. VIIN senses that they can trust the duo, and explained that the missing people were other members of The Luminox, who decided to return home. Manon suggests they form an organization to help VIIN and others who may not be welcomed by the world. PACT is formed.

1977

Joseph Evans visits the Iscallon Centre, where George Goldmann is preaching The Shimmer to a group of his followers.

1990

Joseph Evans and George Goldmann lead their second expedition to Melville Island in search of site ALEPH. Goldmann returns as the sole survivor, and Evans and the rest of the expedition party's fate is left unknown.
